Abstract

My research project concerns science communication and effectively translating biomedical research into digestible content for a common audience. Through conducting and transcribing interviews, I have been able to summarize scientific material, creating explanatory and promotional content for the public. Effective science communication is incredibly important in maximizing the impact of research so that ordinary people can use it to help themselves and others. While communicating and transcribing biomedical research, I have identified beneficial directive procedures for effectively dissecting scientific content. These suggested procedures and processes can be used to guide researchers in presenting their own work to a broad audience.
